Paco & Lola recently participated in the wonderful launch party for the new online store of Almeria’s Crème De La Crème Delicatessen. The new website offers a treasure trove of sumptuous pleasures for gourmets in Spain and around the world.

The party took place on August 8th in the magnificent Macenas Beach Club in Mojácar, under the guidance of Ginés Carmona Baraza, manager of the prestigious Andalusian restaurant, Terraza Carmona. Also in attendance was Mar Segura, one of the stars of the TV program ‘Mujeres Ricas’; renowned artist Alfonso Albacete; the president of Paradores, Miguel Martínez, one of Spain’s leading hotel chains; and many other cultural and business personalities.

In all, more than 200 people from Madrid, Murcia and Almeria enjoyed the chance to taste a wonderful range of delicacies and of course a glass or two of delicious Paco & Lola Albariño wine.

Some of the other gourmet delights on offer included ‘Rougie’ French foie gras, Hendricks gin cocktails, Juve & Camps’ exclusive ‘Milesime’ cava and Estrella Damm’s special ‘Inedit’ range designed by world famous chef Ferran Adrià. The party was one of the highlights of the summer and we hope they can find a reason to repeat it in 2011!
