Paco & Lola know that there’s a time for work and a time for play and sometimes it doesn’t hurt to mix the two. So we were delighted to join a meeting of cosmopolitan businesswomen at the “Network and the City” event on November 17 at the RoomMate Oscar hotel in Madrid’s vibrant Chueca neighbourhood.

This was the first event of this type by the group in Madrid and it was organised by the sisters, Silva and Maria Angels Granado at the hotel’s Gift restaurant.

The evening kicked off with networking over cocktails and a presentation on reinvention in times of crisis by Maria de Benitez from Le Club spa. This was followed up by a magnificent dinner paired with Paco & Lola Albariño and dessert was delicious mini-cupcakes from Happy Day Bakery.

After dinner, Fer González, entertainment director of Arsenal women’s sports club shared some health tips that could prove invaluable as we head into the excesses of the holiday season. The successful evening of networking wrapped up gifts for all the participants and a prize draw that included a bottle of Paco & Lola’s award-winning raspberry liqueur.
