Paco & Lola, always on the side of imagination, creativity and design, did not want to miss DEBUT 09, an event in which the students of the Escuela de Estudios Superiores de Diseño y Moda de Galicia (Galician Graduate School of Design and Fashion), ESDEMGA, present their end-of-course projects.

Here we are presenting a sample of the amazing suggestions that an expert panel composed by French critic Diane Pernet, Galician designer José Castro and architects Emilio Tuñón and Luis Mansilla, besides Sofía Clarí and Lucas Arraut chose as winners.

Female winners, in this case, since 100% of the winners were women. Isabel Mastache’s work was awarded the first prize among all projects, while Carmen Mogo got the honorable mention and the second prize went to Ester Lebrato.

The fashion show held at the Provincial Museum of Pontevedra was a showcase of very different suggestions, full of inspiration and audacity. This is why on the catwalk we could see optical games, midgets, clowns, monsters, the court of Philip II, movie characters… and great many surprising styles.

Once the premiere nervousness had been forgotten, both students and attendants could drink a more relaxed toast to another successful edition of DEBUT’s fashion show with Paco & Lola.
