Last week we were at the Café Voltaire of the Contemporary Art Museum (MARCO) of Vigo taking part in one of the combinations we love the most: Gastronomy & the movies.

This event, organised by the Carlos Casares Fundation was presented by the Spanish movie director Jorge Coira. Jorge was taking us through the ins and outs of his latest movie 18 Comidas (18 Meals) whilst he was presenting the different culinary creations of the fabulous MARCO chefs Alfonso Botas and Miguel Oliveira deliciously paired with our Paco & Lola 2010!.

As you can tell by its title, 18 Comidas (18 Meals) is a movie about food but also about happiness. With a good dose of humour, Jorge Coira unfolds different stories that evolve around this topic… breakfast, lunches and dinners with an improvised script performed by some of the most talented Spanish actors like Luis Tosar, Pedro Alonso, Sergio Peris-Mencheta or Victor Clavijo…
