Paco & Lola was once again chosen to co-sponsor and help celebrate the El Corte Inglés Masters regatta at the Royal Sanxenxo Yacht Club on Spain’s Atlantic coast.

The Paco & Lola tent was open throughout the regatta and participants, friends and spectators dropped in to enjoy a great summer combination: the sea, some top-level sailing and a fine glass of Albariño wine.

In difficult conditions due to strong winds, the ORC 0 race was taken out by «Pairo 8», skippered by Marga Camaselle, the only female skipper in this category.

«Movistar» and «Castrosúa» took out the 10th Presidente de la Xunta Trophy, which goes to the top boats of the Galician High Level Circuit in the ORC 0-1 and ORC 2-3 classes respectively.

In the Optimist Club Championship of Spain the winner was team from the RCN Gran Canaria club from the Canary Islands.

Other category winners were:

ORC 1: Malalo Bermúdez de Castro’s yacht, «Solventis».

ORC 2-3: «Movistar» skippered by Pedro Campos.

ORC special class: M. Alfredo Fríos’ yacht, «Sebrala 2».

Platú 25 Diputación de Pontevedra Trophy: «The Collection Coppel Dental» skippered by José Manuel Perez.
